Our Story
I will never forget March 28, 2017, when the doctor told us that my fiancé, Troy, had Stage4 squamous cell carcinoma of the nasal cavity. Oh, and by the way, it was a rare type of cancer with a 35% survival rate. We were devastated, especially because Troy just proposed to me on January 1st, 2017!
Instead of throwing an engagement party, we were going to start going through many rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgeries.
Our Story
Ashley Jackson’s story is incredibly inspiring. She’s taken an immensely difficult and
personal experience and transformed it into a platform to help others.
Her journey from caregiver to wedding planner, author (Lost, Travel, Found), and motivational speaker
is a beautiful example of resilience, purpose, and compassion.
Not only does she plan wedding events,
but she is an ordained officiant in the state of Ohio,
AND a travel specialist, who can book your honeymoon…which means she is a
wedding one stop shop!
